This past Sunday was one of those moments you cherish because you were part of something God put together and you got to go along for the ride. We set out on our planned order of worship. When Mickey Armijo got up and told his story it was clear that I was not to do anything other than say, "You've heard God's message for you today. What are you going to do about it?" It must have been something like when Peter stood up at Pentecost and told his story and then insisted people do something. (Acts 2:38, 39) And they did...I tossed my message and went with the one God brought to us through my brother in Christ.
I called Kenyon and the team up to lead us in the response song, and there was no doubt the Spirit of God moved in our hearts that morning.
After an extended time of praise and response, Lisa and Markus baptized two children, and the celebration continued.
When we left we knew we all had been part of something very special.
Take time to hear Mickey's story. Share it with a friend far from God. Your faith will depend and it will help your friend trust Jesus.
Join us this Sunday. I have a feeling we will come expecting more of what we were part of this past week.
