Over a year ago we rescued a Yellow Lab. I have had a blast running with her, teaching her to catch a Frisbee (there's a football game in there somewhere), and to fly...okay, not really fly.As you can see in the picture I have begun to train her for the Great Outdoor Games Big Air competition. (The Games halted in 2006, but maybe they'll come back.)
Terry and Julie Casey and their black lab, Skeeter, won the competition once, and they were part of Legacy then. I got the idea from them. I need to look them up...Maybe Madison can become a DockDog.
Anyway, my son-in-law, Graham, was here last weekend and took this shot of one of Madison's jumps...great extension, huh? We'll start measuring and see how she improves over the summer.
