Walt Disney World 07

We had a blast at Walt Disney World. Although it is touted as the busiest week of the year, we still had the best time ever as family. We fought the crowds and made great memories.

Our Cruise Director, Kim, got us out the door every morning at 7:00 to be the first in line to ride the rides with the longest lines. Her strategy worked, and we rode the biggest rides in The Magic Kingdom, MGM, and Epcot before the hoards descended on the parks. We went until after 7:00 p.m. each night. Went home, fell into bed, and started over again in the morning.

Here's Cinderella's Castle at night. It was magical, I must admit.

The best part of the trip was being with family. Here we are at the beginning of the day at MGM. Although it got up to over 80 degrees each day, we had a blast being together. We only got on each other's nerves once or twice. Not bad for that much time together.

This is Kim and me in the Swiss Family Robinson tree house. That was my favorite movie when I was growing up, and I wished that would happen to my family. (Loved Castaway, too.)

We ended our time Friday night at the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights display. Can't describe it. You have to go. They made snow, too! A perfect ending to an ideal trip...

Here are the girls before we entered the Philharmagic in the Magic Kingdom. Kim's mother, second from the right, was the one who made this trip possible. Thank you, Frankye, for giving us a Christmas to remember.

We'll post more pictures later, but it's time to unpack and get ready to finish our series at Legacy, Enter The Prince Of Peace: Into a Groaning Creation.
